    Love my Kigers

Shoes are great for trails. Light weight and comfortable. I always seem to buy the outdated model for $100. Worth the wait.

Roomy forefoot, decent grip. Used for trail running middle distances (up to 30k) and provided good cushioning.

Love Love Terra kiger 8. Have been a fan since the Terra kiger 6! The 8 has been the best! I’m not running, using for long hikes and scrambles up rocks!! I love how the toe box is wide so your toes can be spread out and engaged. I like to be closer to the ground, a closer feel. These shoes give you that close to ground feel with the right amount of comfort. Comfy enough but not too padded where you can twist your ankle! They Fit Like a GLOVE! my feet never move when walking down something super steep! ( love that) I want shoe to feel like an extension of my foot. So I can move! These fit my feet perfectly. I have every color some colors twice. Because I’m worried I won’t ever find a better shoe. I try alot of trail sneakers these are always my go to. Especially if want to be agile and quick. I hope the Terra kiger 9 keeps that same close to ground secure fit! I would love to be the ambassador for Terra kigers I’m obsessed with them. I would say the back of my ankle starts to hurt after long hikes. But I’m not sure if a more padded ankle would take away from the secure fit! May I do some color ways to these !!! Earth tones would be fire!!!! Great shoe 🙌🏼

Comfortable, supportive, lots of cushion and arch support. Only negative comment is that it would be good if it came in different colors.

    Finally found the right maker

I run on trails between 25 to 37 miles week and have tried many shoes from Newton BOCO 5, Salomon Ultraglide, Salomon SLAB Ultra 3 and INOV Trailfly G270, etc. It seems that all of the aforementioned shoes have a flaw to it. The Newtons break on the top mesh where my big toe ends, the Salomon Ultraglide seems to fit too snug in the front toe box and you need to size-upthe Slab doesn't have enough cushioning (it is a more technical shoe) and also is too narrow in the front toe box and finally the INOV, has an issue with the tongue which bunches up. However, I logged over 275 miles on the Nike's and they are sweet!!!! A very comfortable shoe with the perfect drop to run up-and-down hill without ever hitting your toes and the toe box width it is just perfect. Also, I have yet to get debris inside the shoe while running because it is designed to minimize the chances of having to stop to remove a piece of rock, etc. The toe box is just perfect for me. We humans have different feet anatomy and thus, it is a matter of finding which maker is better suited to your feet anatomy and running style. For me, “ Nike hit the nail on the head”.

First, I bought these, I didn't receive them for free as any sort of seeded review. I bought them mainly for the grip, and the grip is excellent. Breathable yet water-resistant, supportive yet soft, they have excellent underfoot cushioning and were comfortable from the very first wear. They seem perfect for rough, solid terrain such as woodlands, hills or mixed-surface runs; but not at all ideal for soft surfaces such as beaches. I cannot fault them, hence the 5 stars. I typically take size 11 shoes, but always order 11.5 in Nike, as I did here: the size is perfect for me. So I recommend ordering your usual Nike size. Plus, they arrived with a bonus sticker of a camping van! I haven't owned any Terra Kiger previously, so cannot comment on relative weight, though they do feel pretty light to me. As I haven't owned them for long, I cannot yet comment on durability.
